"This photograph was taken very early in the morning, on the road leaving the town of Chambas in Ciego de Ávila province. The road was covered in fog and a light rain was falling. We stopped, unsure whether it was dangerous to carry on, and I noticed some spiderwebs hanging from the trees. I was struck by the droplets collecting on them, making them look like jewels. When I began experimenting with my camera and captured this image, I realised that some water had fogged up the lens and I got a little annoyed. But when I saw the image, I was taken with the effect that this 'accident' had caused; blurring the rear of the car and the man with his back turned." - Raul Canibano
